Movie Night Picks

Sometimes (read all the time), all you need is a giant bowl of popcorn, a big duvet and a comfy spot to enjoy nonstop action-packed movies with a good pace, jaw-dropping stunts, epic battles and all the looks for a satisfying Friday evening/weekend.

Rebel Moon - Part 2: The Scargiver

I enjoyed this one and am happy there wasn't a 2+ year gap between the first and second movie - it did not have the ending I had expected from such epic action. I guess it opens up room for another movie...

Atlas

It's quite fitting to have a movie showing the extreme dangers of living in a society with advanced AI integration. Some parts were a bit frustrating, but overall, a good Friday night selection.

Code 8 Part II

I wasn't sure what to expect on this one, the first one had had a good pace and the newness of things made it an exciting watch but the years between the first release and the second instalment dulled it a bit.

This was a good interpretation of the fairytale and the lady saves herself, many times over! I'd hoped they'd leave and we'd see more of Elodie's world...part 2?
